In 2011 Sainsbury’s launched its ‘Live Well for Less’ positioning. Tapping into the UK’s love of cooking, Drum created ‘What’s Cooking from the Sainsbury’s Kitchen’, presented by Ben Shepherd and Lisa Faulkner on Channel 4. I was lucky enough to create the logo, art direct the opening credits and produce guidelines for all online, in-store and other promotional activity. The essence of the logo was very simple. Working on the basic idea that many things in the kitchen are round (hobs, pans, fruit, veg... you get the idea) I used those as a springboard to inform all brand material. Worked like a dream.
